4P3607 Posted June 15, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 15, 2013 Today's goods: >R188 Testing on Sea Beach >R46 at 86 St on Sea Beach (Not In Service) >Other stuff >Others: Yes, that is a cat walking up there. That advertisement is a DISGRACE to R32s. >I still have one more video to post, which is the R188 testing along Sea Beach. I'll post it here tomorrow since it should be done by then. >But for now, Enjoy!

BreeddekalbL Posted June 15, 2013 Share #3 Posted June 15, 2013 i see they are rebuilding the northbound express track at 86th? and lga living up to its reputation, a mismatch of a door. Other then that, nice job.
4P3607 Posted June 15, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted June 15, 2013 I nearly fell out of my chair looking at the above pics lol. Wow!!!!!! Thanks... lol. (Still annoyed by the fact that Photobucket degrades the quality of the photos ) i see they are rebuilding the northbound express track at 86th? and lga living up to its reputation, a mismatch of a door. Other then that, nice job. I'm not sure about that track, it appears it got washed out from flooding from the hurricane since its all twisted, but its new track. I'm assuming they're replacing it. 111 has had a white and black door for as long as I can remember... Thanks.

Kingsbridgeviewer382 Posted June 15, 2013 Share #6 Posted June 15, 2013 I can only say this: Why is an R188 testing at Sea Beach. I know Coney Island yard is nearby, but why Sea Beach?
mtattrain Posted June 15, 2013 Share #7 Posted June 15, 2013 Great foam! Wonder if 7811-7821 are the only ones down there rite now...
Vistausss Posted June 15, 2013 Share #8 Posted June 15, 2013 Awesome! The R188 looks stunning! Question though: why was that Orion on the Q72 driving with one door open at the front?
GojiMet86 Posted June 15, 2013 Share #9 Posted June 15, 2013 Cool pics and vids! I can only say this: Why is an R188 testing at Sea Beach. I know Coney Island yard is nearby, but why Sea Beach? They use the express track to test trains.
4P3607 Posted June 15, 2013 Author Share #10 Posted June 15, 2013 I can only say this: Why is an R188 testing at Sea Beach. I know Coney Island yard is nearby, but why Sea Beach? That I ask too, Dyre and Sea Beach's express tracks don't really differ in length... Great foam! Wonder if 7811-7821 are the only ones down there rite now... There's more, four sets I believe. Awesome! The R188 looks stunning! Question though: why was that Orion on the Q72 driving with one door open at the front? Thanks! Both doors were closed, its just that one door is white and the other black. Cool pics and vids! They use the express track to test trains. Thanks & Yeah. Union Tpke Posted June 16, 2013 Share #14 Posted June 16, 2013 Recently I took an R46 F to Kew Gardens at the Manhattan Bound platform there was also an R46 F. This used to be a really common sight. Now.........not so much. Nice pictures and video. I like the R188 pics, the R32 Work Train with the 9 rollsign (why do R32s have some numbers like that), and others.
