RailBus63 Posted June 21, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2013 The two MTA Orion VII CNG's that were built but never delivered to New York City are now in service in Syracuse:Centro1272_061813_JDevlin by RailBus63, on FlickrCentro purchased these from Orion during the closeout. I believe the other has been numbered #1271 but I need to confirm this. They differ from Centro's own 2012 Orion VII CNG's (#1200-1255) by their framed windows, amber LED destination signs and standard headlights instead of LED.Jim D. User Posted June 21, 2013 Share #2 Posted June 21, 2013 Boy, that bus would have looked great in livery. Centro really got some great buses!
PinePower Posted June 21, 2013 Share #3 Posted June 21, 2013 They would've looked better with NICE.

MHV9218 Posted June 21, 2013 Share #6 Posted June 21, 2013 That would have looked damn good on the B35, true shame about that. Excellent shots.
RailBus63 Posted June 22, 2013 Author Share #7 Posted June 22, 2013 They would've looked better with NICE. NICE probably had a chance to buy them if they wanted. Centro got these two buses for a pretty good price because Orion came to them asking if they were interested.
RailBus63 Posted August 28, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted August 28, 2013 Update - 1271 and 1272 now have white LED destination signs to match Centro's own 2012 order of Orion VII's.
