4P3607 Posted July 19, 2013 Share #2 Posted July 19, 2013 That is interesting how one of the older cars goes into a new consist... I'm guessing that was because of a car mishap? Nice pics.
mtattrain Posted July 19, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted July 19, 2013 That is interesting how one of the older cars goes into a new consist... I'm guessing that was because of a car mishap? Nice pics. The older cars were deemed usable after their maximum lifespan (25 years), and since they have no motors, they can simply be refurbished and incorporated into a new train. Thanks! Minato ku Posted July 19, 2013 Share #4 Posted July 19, 2013 Nice photos but I would not call a surface line with level crossing, a subway. It is more like a urban or suburban rail line for me. I know I have a strict definition of subway (mostly underground or with a large underground part and highly segregated).
realizm Posted July 20, 2013 Share #5 Posted July 20, 2013 Well I'm all ears on this one as I am not 100% familiar with this transit system, but for one thing, these pics are mean! Just by the pics alone shows this transit system is hardcore in terms of the tech invested into the network, stations and rolling stock. +1 mtattrain!
