where is all R142A on the (6) line;

1. Pelham maintence yard.

2. 207 street overhaul shop

3. unionport yard

4. Livonia yard?

5. concourse yard?

number 1.

why is R32 at Concourse yard home of (B) , (D) , (4) line.

those are what is left of the Phase II R32s that have not been reefed. i hope (NYCT) considers putting them back into service because no one seems to like the R40/40M/42s.

Humm, nice pix of the R-32. Man, I miss those signs with naked covers!

Thanks!

I love the R40! They are starting to have motor issues though. B)

Well to clarify..

207th Street is the home yard for the A and the C. However the 1 is stored here as well, but the 1's own home yard is 240th Street Yard.

Concourse Yard is the home yard for the D only. The B and 4 uses it for storage and lay-ups as well. The B is based out of Coney Island and the 4 is based out of Jerome (which is adjacent to Concourse)

they were having problems with the New York Air brake when they were taken out of service. All revenue active R32's (still in passenger service) are Phase I's
