peacemak3r Posted November 15, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 15, 2013 At first, I thought it was NYC to Atlantic City and was thinking that would be the biggest waste of money ever. But now seeing it's from Chicago and Houston, it's not so bad. Wonder if it'll significantly boost Atlantic City's revenue though.

Fan Railer Posted November 19, 2013 Share #8 Posted November 19, 2013 Well Atlantic City could use the tourism, question is do tourists want Atlantic City? It's on the jersey shore, so why not. I'm pretty sure most tourists don't know that there are better locations along the jersey shore to visit other than AC.

I know Frontier operates MDW -Trenton and fares are sky high. On another note, wish more carriers would move into MKE to take the load off of ORD and MDW.... Yes, Spirit has regular service out of ACY, and they use Airbus aircraft I'm supposed to be flying to Ft Lauderdale from ACY through Spirit this January... wish me luck lol

LGA-ORD. Wasn't that bad. Here are some tips: * Make sure you pay your baggage fee online. It's going to be at the cheapest rate. I wound up taking my checked bag through security by mistake and they took it at the gate. That translates into it coming out first. * Buy food and drinks before you board. Everything costs money and it's not worth the money. * The seats don't recline. Hope you're not tall. Make use of the space under the seat in front of you. Have fun. I just hope there won't be a 14 hour long delay because of "routine inspections" like what happened in Ft Lauderdale weeks ago that affected all Spirit flights out of there... Spirit is the worst when it comes to handling delays Yes Westjet offers seasonal service to Atlantic City from its network in Canada. not anymore: http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/news/press/atlantic_city/article_34e6383a-5785-11df-9150-001cc4c002e0.html

mfs NJT459 Posted November 7, 2014 Author Share #15 Posted November 7, 2014 And just like that, United/Express Jet is ending service from Chicago and Houston to AC and the Wall Street Journal still believes this has something to do with extending the PATH Train to Newark Airport station http://online.wsj.com/articles/united-airlines-cuts-its-service-to-atlantic-city-1415384759

I usually fly Spirit from LGA to ORD as they usually have the cheapest fares with no bags.
