junjun441 Posted January 17, 2014 Share #27 Posted January 17, 2014 He's done plenty in this city, including in your borough in the Bronx. He's managed to cut crime in a borough known for having the highest crime rates in the city. That alone IMO is a success. Are you kidding me? There's actually too much affordable housing in this city... Just look at the hoards of housing projects around... Don't forget he also put us in serious debt that our new mayor will have to fix. I don't know who is worse honestly, Bloomberg or Rudy.
Via Garibaldi 8 Posted January 17, 2014 Share #28 Posted January 17, 2014 Don't forget he also put us in serious debt that our new mayor will have to fix. I don't know who is worse honestly, Bloomberg or Rudy. Serious debt?? How exactly? He put monies into a reserve to keep the city afloat and to help it remain viable during the recession. Grand Concourse Posted January 19, 2014 Share #29 Posted January 19, 2014 Yeah, last I heard he did get the city on budget (of course battling the unions). So I dunno, DeBlassio seems like he'd favor the unions, so expect higher taxes to cover the increased salaries/union demands...
N4 Via Merrick Rd Posted January 19, 2014 Share #30 Posted January 19, 2014 DeBlasio is gonna get the city broke. This government is so f**ked up. They give benefits to people that don't need it. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

realizm Posted January 19, 2014 Share #32 Posted January 19, 2014 DeBlasio is gonna get the city broke. This government is so f**ked up. They give benefits to people that don't need it. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk Saying it straight: You don't know if you may hit poverty because it can happen to anyone. For the record, most of the poor cannot even live on your notion of handouts let alone the lie that they dont want to work which is FALSE. Wake up call. Need stats? Feel free to ask. Turbo19 Posted January 19, 2014 Share #33 Posted January 19, 2014 Guys, Blasio is pursuing the soda ban too... I might have bothered, but when they're so many other issues to be regarded that's not a priority. With that said it will get shot down because there is other matters to be dealt with, many other serious matters.
N4 Via Merrick Rd Posted January 19, 2014 Share #34 Posted January 19, 2014 The soda ban is absurd. People have and should have the freedom to choose the amounts of soda they want to drink. Even if it were to come to effect there's something called REFILLS.
Missabassie Posted January 19, 2014 Share #35 Posted January 19, 2014 Yeessss, the EVIL, sugary sodas... If they're so bad, why do they make them...?
Turbo19 Posted January 19, 2014 Share #36 Posted January 19, 2014 Yeessss, the EVIL, sugary sodas... If they're so bad, why do they make them...? Same reason liquor and tobacco are never short, supply and demand. Ironically I think I'm demanding of all three right now.
