YankeesPwnMets Posted December 30, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 30, 2013 A really cool video I wanted to share. Amazing how intricate these tunnels are. Also the depth of these tunnels amaze me. Thousands and maybe millions of ants could fit in these colonies. Now before anyone gets butthurt: Fire ants are invasive species. They do not belong in the United States. They have almost no natural predators here and cause billions of dollars worth of damage each year in terms of medical costs and property damage. The more we get rid of them, the better. A few ants probably did die here, but its better than letting those little things live and harm more people.
peacemak3r Posted December 30, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 30, 2013 Could of sworn someone posted this on Off-Topic already, either way this was blown up in the social media. The video with the cement was good too.
realizm Posted December 30, 2013 Share #3 Posted December 30, 2013 I saw another video where they also showed how to make the furnace to melt the aluminum scrap metal (foil, soda cans, and so forth) which is the same method as such with building a pit for a BBQ. It was alot easier to do than I thought.
Grand Concourse Posted December 30, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 30, 2013 Awesome, though i still wouldn't bring that in even as a trophy. Toss it out in the trash and keep those things far away.
