DJ MC Posted January 14, 2014 #1 Posted January 14, 2014 I didn't take much pics, but I did get some videos and found one of the four D60s (135-698). These were taken yesterday. Enjoy. Images: Videos:
GojiMet86 Posted January 14, 2014 #2 Posted January 14, 2014 Cool pics and vids! Are those RTS going to be replaced soon?
realizm Posted January 14, 2014 #3 Posted January 14, 2014 Yeah good question, when are the RTSs are going to be replaced and with what bus type? Appreciate the footage btw. +1.
DJ MC Posted January 14, 2014 Author #4 Posted January 14, 2014 Cool pics and vids! Are those RTS going to be replaced soon? This year is likely the last year the RTS will be in service. I don't know when exactly, but we shall found out soon. Yeah good question, when are the RTSs are going to be replaced and with what bus type? Appreciate the footage btw. +1. As for what bus type will replace them, I'm not sure, but it's likely going to be more Gilligs. Disney has six Nova LFS artics due to arrive very soon (they're probably on the property already). I saw three New Flyer XD60s pass by the ticket center, sadly none of them came in. On a different note, I liked how the D60 video came out, especially on the highway section.
DJ MC Posted January 15, 2014 Author #6 Posted January 15, 2014 Really amazing shots and vids! Thanks man.
Via Garibaldi 8 Posted January 15, 2014 #9 Posted January 15, 2014 It's interesting to see non buses... They always seem naked to me for some reason... That blue stripe really makes a difference. lol

That blue stripe really makes a difference. lol I use to think Disney's old paint scheme with the bus being all white with the red Disney decal on either side was bland. It's nice to see they're changing that to the new paint scheme.

DJ MC Posted January 15, 2014 Author #12 Posted January 15, 2014 Yeah it is a bit bland... Makes the buses look much older too... Well the RTS as slowly retiring, so they really don't need to paint those. Of course the RTS are in much better condition and are holding up compared to the 2000-2002 built Nova LFS. A driver told me about how terrible those LFS buses run.
