FamousNYLover Posted February 14, 2014 #1 Posted February 14, 2014 Have anyone seen this video? http://www.pix11.com/2014/02/07/zombie-prank-creator-could-face-charges-after-failing-to-notify-city/ AMC went too far with this prank without permit. They could have scare the people off onto streets because most people I know are afraid of spooky stuffs or Haunted Houses.
peacemak3r Posted February 14, 2014 #3 Posted February 14, 2014 Nothing to do with subways really, so wrong section. (I assume you posted this here only because there was an MTA spokesperson mentioned in the article.) "Has anyone seen this video?" I'm sure anyone with social media has seen this video or anyone that passes by WorldStarHipHop as well. "AMC went too far with this prank without a permit." You can't be serious, I've seen way more "out of this world" type of pranks being done that surpasses this by ten million miles "without a permit." "They could have scared people off onto the streets because most people I know are afraid of spooky stuff or haunted house." Well that's people you know and I know you don't know the entire New York city population, so you can't assume that. People running into the streets is a possibility but I'd say a low chance at that. Back to point #3, I believe they are only blowing this out of proportion only because of the fact that they are a TV network. You don't see the city making amateurs famous with their videos and short movies without a permit. I can see a vote down coming because I disagreed with pretty much everything you said. LOL.
FamousNYLover Posted February 14, 2014 Author #4 Posted February 14, 2014 In Japan, Japanese people are afraid of haunted places.
Kamen Rider Posted February 14, 2014 #6 Posted February 14, 2014 In Japan, Japanese people are afraid of haunted places. What has what Japanese people like and don't got to do with this? Yes, it would bother most people you know but if most of them are Japanese, then you have a very skewed sample. Too skewed to be of any use as the basis for a logical argument. It's like saying "Don't go swimming at the beach, most shark attacks occur in less than 3 feet of water." Now consider that that is where the vast majority of swimmers tend to be, in less than 3 feet of water. Now your average American, on the whole, likes being scared. Do you want me to count every zombie movie, let alone every horror movie, made in the last 10 years. I've seen Tshirts for little kids with Lego zombies on them. Zombies are big right now. Also, the walking dead doesn't have much in the "haunting" department from what I know of the show.
peacemak3r Posted February 14, 2014 #7 Posted February 14, 2014 I find more hilarious is that, most Japanese versions of scary movies in the States are more scarier than the States versions.
QM1to6Ave Posted February 14, 2014 #8 Posted February 14, 2014 I'm not a fan of these new pranks that try to scare the shit out of people. Just wait until 1 old lady jumps back from this, falls, breaks her hip, and sues.

You go to Japan, and they got full fledged jokes of armed robberies and fake "Deaths" of there loved ones happening while the victim is helplessly crying for help. The one great thing in america can make it the worst thing in america.
peacemak3r Posted February 16, 2014 #10 Posted February 16, 2014 Actually a lot of the practical jokes outside of America is far more crazier than American's "practical" jokes.

How they got away with that one is beyond me. Some people are sick.
