LegoBrickBreaker101 Posted November 30, 2015 Share #5876 Posted November 30, 2015 Nice use of sarcasm you can never believe a damn thing he says anymore. Eh, Javier's got some good things to say once in a while that aren't bs... Ohhhh, is THAT how we're gonna play this now. For everybody's attention, I said the R142A set that involves 7925. You people really need to stop with the sarcasm, it's getting annoying. Lo siento I just had to say it, i'll stop from now on

VIP Posted November 30, 2015 Share #5878 Posted November 30, 2015 I guess railfans are not fans of the R62A's on the ... Since it's being vandalized with removal of strip maps and placed over the rollsign or car Number stickers being removed or renumbered. 0_o

ttcsubwayfan Posted December 1, 2015 Share #5881 Posted December 1, 2015 It's not going to be all SMEEs. And the reliability of the R62As are fine. And are you trying to justify the vandalism that VIP described in his post?
jon2305 Posted December 1, 2015 Share #5882 Posted December 1, 2015 Reliability in the sense of digital display & automated announcements.... big deal. Eventually all that will come but for now it is what it is and the chips fall were they may. The line won't be entirely of SMEE equipment, there'll still be some R142As left over. It's NOT gonna be the "end of the world," the used SMEE equipment many years prior to the year 2000. I dont think passengers care about reliability of service so much so then getting a seat, whether theres AC in the summer and heat in the winter, and getting from Point A to Point B as the ol'cliche goes (in peace) as long as the train is working & moving and the subway's are running. Also, you have the & EXPRESS for your NTT delight indulgence.

And are you trying to justify the vandalism that VIP described in his post? No they are heavily vandalized I'm just saying that's not one of the reasons why I'm not a fan of R62as on the and IMO the R142as will always fit the the best my mistake I've heard that the was supposed to become fully infected with SMEES.
Javier Posted December 2, 2015 Share #5884 Posted December 2, 2015 Quick Question: If 34 St wasn't built with tail tracks extension, would the number of R142A converts be reduced?
Tech And Transit Posted December 2, 2015 Share #5885 Posted December 2, 2015 Quick Question: If 34 St wasn't built with tail tracks extension, would the number of R142A converts be reduced? Idk but the tail tracks are crucial so they can bring Queens bound trains into service during rush-hour. On another note, I can't believe 7926 is here. Hard to believe the last time I saw 7486 was in June/July. I hope it's still a fairly nice car. Can't wait to see what this set is like on the , although I'll miss seeing it on the occasionally.

Or, honestly, even members of the public--at least for all of it.

T J Trainman Posted December 4, 2015 Share #5890 Posted December 4, 2015 7531-7535 are still in service. 7491-7495 should be going to Pitkin soon if they aren't there already.

MHV9218 Posted December 5, 2015 Share #5892 Posted December 5, 2015 1961-1965 still have their rollsigns uncovered at the A and B ends, but I think they are linked cars. 1961 and 1965 are full cabs, at the least.
trainfan22 Posted December 5, 2015 Share #5893 Posted December 5, 2015 I noticed they don't really use the brand new 188 sets that often, rode the during PM rush today and only like 2 sets of the new 188s was running... I guess they don't want the Warranty to run out to fast.

MHV9218 Posted December 5, 2015 Share #5899 Posted December 5, 2015 They really sent singles to already? Before the other 2000s and 2100s? Would love to hear that confirmed. I figured given the full cabs and all that that set was linked.
T J Trainman Posted December 5, 2015 Share #5900 Posted December 5, 2015 Yeah I know that's weird and 2141-2145 will go to the 6. Nothing from the 7 will go to the 1. It is strictly 7 to the 6.
