Fresh Pond Posted December 14, 2015 Share #5926 Posted December 14, 2015 It's possible all these R62's are heading to Westchester via the obviously. Probably some maintenance/car wash Westchester Yard is capable of doing for Livonia's R62 . It was already answered a couple of posts up. The wash at 239 is closed until the end of the year, so they're heading to Westchester instead.
VIP Posted December 15, 2015 Share #5927 Posted December 15, 2015 R62A 1790 is missing an LED. The rollsign box is still unscrewed... Fishy...

asi14 Posted December 15, 2015 Share #5929 Posted December 15, 2015 it was probably just a temporary thing

Javier Posted December 16, 2015 Share #5931 Posted December 16, 2015 Does anybody know why 7421 is missing it's flag?
VIP Posted December 16, 2015 Share #5932 Posted December 16, 2015 R62A 1696 is also now missing an LED. So it's safe to assume Westchester learned how to maintain them and temporarily remove them if they are not lit or fully functional?

I guess so, since 1761 has gotten back it's once missing LED light back.

Javier Posted December 16, 2015 Share #5935 Posted December 16, 2015 Communists stole it I'm actually serious, the Kawaski Flag is actually missing. They probably forgot to put one on it, or it fell off and they didn't bother replacing it

I normally refer to it as a regular flag.
PMac18 Posted December 17, 2015 Share #5938 Posted December 17, 2015 Saw a #3 train enter 125th Street on Lex uptown express side as Not In Service. I'm almost positive it switched from there to the Pelham line. Not sure if a loaner or getting washed. I believe the last car number I saw was 1652. I could be wrong.
jon2305 Posted December 17, 2015 Share #5939 Posted December 17, 2015 Probably 1625 since 1652 is a R62A set, and I'm guessing is going up for a wash.

VIP Posted December 22, 2015 Share #5942 Posted December 22, 2015 It doesn't surprise me that Westchester would put strip maps OVER the strip maps on the R62A's instead of taking the old strips off. ????
Javier Posted December 22, 2015 Share #5943 Posted December 22, 2015 Don't some of the R62A's from the have the old strip maps that still show 42 St as the last stop while others have the updated ones? It doesn't surprise me that Westchester would put strip maps OVER the strip maps on the R62A's instead of taking the old strips off. Which set?

Which set? 2111-2115 and it's funny because that set has the painted door thresholds. They got time to paint door thresholds but no time to remove stickers? Unreal.
