Im not trying to go off topic, but news is there is 6 sets of R62A's on the (4) line

Yep. They desided to put a handful of R62As on the (4) this weekend. Counted 3 including my ride on the R62A (4) going uptown from Brooklyn Bridge yesterday.

Is it just on weekends or will those R62A's stay at the yard during the week?

The (6)'s R142As is most likely 7400s, 7500s and 7600s

7200s and 7300s (almost most are converted)

Rose the R62a (4) honestly it don't feel the same like back in the late 1990s and earlier 2000s when the R62 (4) would speed thru 103-116 streets and the train would dance( when the run goes fast and the train car would move out of control) love that feeling lol

Must be the suspensions springs and shock absorbers that reduce buckling of the cars for a smoother ride, the suspensions during that time was wearing out similar to a car's suspensions and shock absorbers when the car is rebounding more often than normal.

I thought I was seeing things cause 1996 was still a half cab in November. 2011, 2021, 2031, 2066, and maybe a couple others remain half cabs. Obviously the singles as well, but the set of singles was kept in today.

* From what I've heard,

1901-1908, 1910-1925 will still be singles for the 42 St Shuttle

1926-1960 will be converted to 5-car sets, 1961-2155 with cabs (in process).

*Also, 7081-7090 is at 239 St Yard (2)

Actually 1926-1965 will be converted to 5 car units. *1961-1965 are still singles for now.

Also 7321-7329-7910-7330 are in service.

Some will actually stay as singles. Was confirmed why for certain reasons
