IAlam Posted September 15, 2016 Share #6703 Posted September 15, 2016 what anyone seen the R188's with the LED rings lately? Seems as if they disappeared.
CTK246 Posted September 15, 2016 Share #6704 Posted September 15, 2016 what anyone seen the R188's with the LED rings lately? Seems as if they disappeared. Good, they were ugly and had no place on an NTT.
Lance Posted September 15, 2016 Share #6705 Posted September 15, 2016 I actually didn't really mind the addition of the circle/diamond local/express indicators. Well, the idea behind them that is. I'd prefer an entirely new design of the side signs that incorporates these kinds of indicators rather than the ad-hoc approach we got.
Tech And Transit Posted September 15, 2016 Share #6706 Posted September 15, 2016 what anyone seen the R188's with the LED rings lately? Seems as if they disappeared. Unfortunately, the set that got them installed still has them. However, no other sets have gotten them since which is a good sign. Also, when Corona replaced 7505's display with a new one, they didn't put a new LED sign over it. I wish they would take them out entirely.

That is correct, I saw it in service today. 2081 does indeed still have a half cab. Whoever reported that a set went to Westchester must have meant 2071-75 or 2091-95.
