Eric Kreszl 0 Posted August 20, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 20, 2007 Hello, On the Weekend of May 19th 20th NJ Transit worked on the Catenary wires in South Amboy in Preparation to raise the South Amboy Station on the NJCL to convert it to a High Level Platform. The work is not complete yet but for the first time I was able to photograph the NJ Transit Wire Train in action. The Wires were turned off for 2 full days and NJ Transit ran diesels the whole weekend. Here are some photos, Enjoy, Eric P.S. The photos were taken with permission from the railroad employees working on the train prior to photographing it.
