Possibly the 2nd oldest mainline-size plane in the USA still in service

Landing at JFK yesterday---N365FE (Joey), a DC-10 converted to an MD-10, and the 6th DC-10 built, which first flew in March 1971 (there is one older DC-10 in existence (the 2nd example built), owned by Project Orbis).




This is how the plane looked way back in the day (not my photo, but it has to be be before 1974 or 1975)
