Burrstone Posted August 1, 2014 Author Share #26 Posted August 1, 2014 What plant did you visit Crookston, MN or St. Cloud, MN? During BHA in the Twin Cities last month, we visited the New Flyer plant, NFI person there said they would still offer the LFR if the customer signed an order for 300-500 buses. This amount does rule out most if not all LFR customers. That rules out NICE, unless they piggy backed on another order...

Manhattanville Posted August 4, 2014 Share #28 Posted August 4, 2014 Hmm interesting. Do you think NICE can handle the heavy duty New Flyer's new models in their depot? I feel Gillig would b a better candidate in my opinion.

Manhattanville Posted August 6, 2014 Share #30 Posted August 6, 2014 I guess... NICE just does a good job of having bad maintenance on their buses. Im kind of not a big fan of the New Flyer XD models... oh well I'll have 2 c wat they choose, I really hope they choose gillig though, that transition from Orion to gillig would b cool. Joel Up Front Posted August 6, 2014 Share #31 Posted August 6, 2014 You've posted basically the same thing twice. Also, typing like you're in a 2003 AOL chatroom doesn't make your post readable. At any rate, I won't have anything to say until the last Nassau-owned Orion V makes it off of the Island.
