The last four of that batch were inspected and passed today.... 18029 and 18033-18035.

18020 on the 410 right now. Saturday 3:30 pm.

Finally some NJT 18000's on Youtube. 18002 and 18005 in videos.

The NJ Transit 2017 Annual Report stated that the remaining 290 commuter coach units on the order will be 40-foot.

That’s a switch.  We tried to get 40 foot buses at Lakeland, and the state told my boss “no”.  Smh

18035 did a 406 and turned into a 402 Express when it got to Philadelphia

18036 is on the 406 now also.

18036 then is possibly the last Cummins bus for now. I think the VIN is 1M8PDMBA8JP014822. Inspected on 12/26. Will have to see if there are others beyond that.

This is slightly inaccurate. If you read the actual report, the way the information is phrased indicates that the 40-foot cruiser buses are part of a SEPARATE procurement contract that has yet to be issued:

Quote

Bid specifications were developed for 80, sixty-foot articulated buses and 290 forty-foot clean-diesel cruiser buses, replacing buses that are approaching the end of their useful lives. Cruiser buses are primarily used for long-distance bus routes while articulated buses operate in densely populated urban areas. NJ TRANSIT plans to issue bid packages for both types of buses in FY2018, with the scheduled deployment of those buses between FY2019 and FY2022. All of the buses will meet the requirements of the ADA

I don't think there will be a DD13 bus in the near future. 17185 was said to have a DD13, but it has a Cummins engine in it.

40 footers will go to Oradell and Market St garages due to facility limitations. Side note:

In 2015/2016 NJ Transit/NJDOT applied for federal aid to build new garage replacement for Oradell to be built in Teterboro (75 million dollar) under the federal HUD Flood Resilience program. However, it was not awarded.

As of today I have inspection sheets for all buses through 18080, with the exception of 18073, 18074 and 18076. Egg Harbor is now getting buses. I do not know the dividing line between the two garages but will check Monday rush hour to see if I can find that out.

18001-18062 at Washington Twp. 18065 and up to Egg Harbor, as high as 18074 so far. Through 18080 delivered. No sign of 18063 or 18064 yet. No more new buses on the horizon just yet...

As of today saturday morning 5:40 am still no sign of 18063 or 18064.

18063 is in revenue out of Washington Twp. 18064 still MIA, and we have not seen 18079 or 18080 yet. No further buses on the property yet so I think we're in idle for a few months.
