Some X2, X9, and Riverdale Bus Shots

Recommended Posts

So, I went to Washington DC for the time period between Thursday and today (arrive at like 9:30 PM).

I have over 200 pics (not only bus pics, but with attractions, the metro, and several videos, but those are for later).

These are just a few pictures, starting off with some pictures I took from Thursday in the Riverdale- New Carrollton Area in Prince George's County, MD.

My hotel was on the NW side of DC, and I was in the center of the city, at Union Station. I decided to walk along the route at first, and mainly seeing X2 and 80 buses along H Street (these two would become my home routes for the time being).

Then I went back to Chinatown from my hotel, to see what there was to eat, and snapped these shots...

Now, this was from yesterday. This spotting is like an artic on the M100 appearing; not rare, but not common

Enjoy, and I have many more pics to follow, so stay tuned!

Nice

Thanks!

Mmm X9 pretty brings back memories when I used to take it. I also remember the 21x I chased after storming off the MARC at new Carrollton I jumped on the bus as it left transit is so good to me.

I like it though, the suburban buses signed as X on non-wmata services in the area actually use the expressway via HOV lanes. Especially in the North Virginia Area, there's one that only runs every 15 minutes at most between Pentagon and Mark Center (the 7M), although those had like 4 riders on at most (but from the schedule, I guess it's more geared towards reverse commuters).

Those NABIs are beautiful. They just started service, I believe, last time I was in DC.

I don't mind them, but I prefer the C40's and Orion VII CNG's (lol).
