The first day on my trip to Washington DC, I arrived DC Union Station sometime around 2:20 PM (an hour late of scheduled).

I didn't do many things that day, however I took a lot of pictures that day (If I thought that would be my peak, I was wrong).

Here are some shots of the DC Streetcar within the bus (The DC Streetcar has not started service yet, and won't for a while).

Now, I walked to the hotel I was staying at (which was like a 50 minute walk with frequent stops and what not)

I stay at my hotel for a while, unpack, get to know the scene and what not, and then after an hour (in the middle of the PM peak), I head out to Chinatown to see what restaurants there are and what to chow down.

So then I head down H Street again

Express buses from the suburbs to Washington DC Area are operated by Loudon County Transit (which runs only express buses and rail shuttles), and the cost is $8.00.

Buses run from approximately 4:30 am-9:30 am to the Washington DC Area, and from 12:10 pm-8:00 PM to Loudon County.
