(AUS) One of the world's busiest tram corridors.

Recommended Posts

While Melbourne has many famous streets none are no busier than Swanston Street. Nine of Melbournes 25 tram routes run down through the middle making it one of the busiest tram lines in the world if not the busiest. During peak times a tram is running every minute.

Routes 1, 3/3a, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67 & 72 all run down Swanston St with a wide variety of trams.

All were taken outside Flinders St station on the corner of Swanston and Flinders sts.

The application of the PTV livery has stepped up somewhat on the trams and buses. Proberly because the state election is just around the corner. Here D1.3518 shows off what the D class trams will be wearing while on a 72 to Melbourne uni.
