Does LaGuardia still have their remaining four?

For now, they are here but out of service. Will determine the rest by the end of this week to whether or not it's retired.

As of now, 6643 LGA to scrap

That fleet is 13-14 years old. There have already been some write-offs. It should not be too surprising at this point.

It kind of is. Those buses are in much better condition than the 2004-05s. Unless there was an issue with the unit, it should of been sent to JFK Depot while a 2004/05 unit gets sent to retirement.

that's odd, I wonder what happened to that bus?

Shop Queen perhaps...……...too many road calls...……..poor performing bus...……...MTA Bus mechanical/hybrid specialists called in and too many new major parts required to bring it up to snuff...….just too expensive to repair in both parts and labor time required...…….retirement age.

When the Bus was at Baisley Park, There was nothing wrong with that bus. But it's not a big deal since that bus is about 14 years old.

Yes and no.

The OGs are ok but if the MTA's financial situation dosen't improve soon then they'll be dropping more like flies

This past weekend CP was still running those 2002 MCI's on Saturday AND Sunday. I don't remember what they was numbered, I just knew they was the 02 units cause of the green signs.

One of them was 2824. And only one still has the orange signs, 2926.

Yeah, I saw 2824 in Midtown on Saturday. Was surprised to see a flipdot out on a weekend.

FYI, 2926 was originally New York Bus Service #1803. Hopefully they'll save it for the museum,

Given that the entire 1860+ order got scrapped (first coaches) and they already plucked the NYBS seats out of 2926, I'm not too optimistic about that. It'd be great though.
