Never forget the infamous period in 2008-2009 when 3200s from Spring Creek and Eastchester went to Staten Island and the 1800s went to MTA Bus in exchange for maintenance reasons. 🤣 -EDIT- Last I recall, the 3000s were not paid for with federal funds. Tbh, the dates aren't that exact meaning that they will be retired. It's like MCI 2910, hasn't ran a few days only for it to be maintained and back in-service until its given expired date.
