NYCT can send equipment to MTA Bus but I don't think they can do it in the reverse, if the buses were bought with fed money. I don't think they're gonna pull MCIs, they've been pulling Prevosts from elsewhere on the island.

They have done it in reverse. Photos taken here were taken in 2008.

Never forget the infamous period in 2008-2009 when 3200s from Spring Creek and Eastchester went to Staten Island and the 1800s went to MTA Bus in exchange for maintenance reasons. 🤣

-EDIT-

Last I recall, the 3000s were not paid for with federal funds.

#6724 and #6783 from Manhattanville may be retired. #6724 hasn't run since September 20th, and #6783 since September 21st.

Tbh, the dates aren't that exact meaning that they will be retired. It's like MCI 2910, hasn't ran a few days only for it to be maintained and back in-service until its given expired date.

That's *really* recent for those buses. I'd look for something like August 20th or at least a few weeks before drawing conclusions.

Now it's official. Someone saw #6724 get towed out of Manhattanville Depot yesterday. All Old Gens at Manhattanville, retired.

Ends a 16-year era for that Depot, dating back to the 6600s, 6360s and 6400s.
