What are the blue lights on each side of the destnation sign for ?

Blue lights on buses and streetcars indicate that the vehicle is wheelchair accessible.

That's interesting.  Aren't all of the buses wheelchair accessible? And what's with the black fronts?

It may be the case that all buses are wheelchair accessible (that has been the case since late 2011, with the exception of a single GM that apparently is at Wilson Division), but this in not the case for the streetcars. We have 7 or so accessible streetcars and ~240 that are not accessible.

As for the black fronts, that is the TTC's standard livery. If you are referring to bus #8004, that bus is in the special 192 Airport Rocket Livery.

Yeah they are, it's mostly a cosmetic thing at this point.

There are two historical GMs, and I believe bus 2345 has been kept for parts. If I am not mistaken, they're all stored in Hillcrest. God knows when they'll run again, but they're not going to be at Wilson for anything other than storage.

As for the streetcars, you can thank Bombardier for that!  There should have been ~50 cars in service by now.

I forgot that there were 2 GMs that were kept: I think 2252 and 2444. 2345 is definitely a parts bus. The info about a GM at the Wilson Division came from an operator based there in February.
