Hey everyone, just updating so .... i heard today that there will be no more c/r classes  till next year. But dont be discouraged because things can change fast. My advice is to keep doing your everyday normal life and enjoy it now.

Wow!!! I guess we have some waiting to do. I’m just speculating but maybe a lot of ppl will be retiring for the New Year. Let’s say wishful thinking.

Has anyone gotten any updates as far as hiring or a new class? I call transit but I guess they are tired of people calling and they always place me on hold.

22.14/hr starting pay, 31.63 after 5 years.

You'll get one afterwards every time a new contract goes in effect where top pay is raised.

I believe a conductor gets paid more. But a track worker always get OT. Both positions have the same potential earnings. There are both track workers and conductors with salaries over 100k due to OT.

Isn't it top pay after 6 yrs? On your 7th year? 

 

Cause after 5 full years make me reconsider perhaps going for it. My raise coming next month at the hotel I'm going up to $30.50 ot after 35 hrs. On base salary I'm on pace for 83,500. At full salary I would be on pace for $112k or so. With my new bump in raise, next year on same pace I would've earned $95,00.

Yes, after new contracts. I envision top pay being around $34.50 before any of us make it to top pay.

Yes. When I got hired, I asked what number they get up to. The guy told me usually about 10,000.
