Thank You, Got a nasty speeding/suspension 8 years ago driving a taxi...

For $7.00, you can actually view and print your own abstract right off your desktop/laptop/smart phone, etc. Click here for more information.

Chances are that if it's not on your abstract, then you're good to go.

Thank You, Got a nasty speeding/suspension 8 years ago driving a taxi...My diabetes will be a hurdle as it as don't need more lol

Speeding ticket should be off of your abstract if it happened 8 years ago, though driving a taxi at the same time, I don't know how that works with the TLC and all. I had a speeding ticket as well around 04 and my abstract is a blank page now.

Some of you guys should really do your research before asking ridiculous questions! Didn't you read the job requirement when you applied for this job....Why are we asking or talking about licenses.... Come on people get it together !!!!

Of course not. Any post to that effect would be pure blind speculation. The promo list hasn't even been established yet. It's impossible to speculate on how people did on the test until the results come out. Then at least you'll have a ballpark of how many people would need to be considered before they'll move on to the OC list.

its been almost close to a year, how come no list has been established yet =(

They're probably and most likely not done either with the previous open-competitive exam (8094) or the promotional list. Therefore, it doesn't make sense to establish this list, since it's initially valid for four [4] years, which can be extended to a total of six [6] years, depending on the conditions when the time comes.

@Young, thanks for the explanation.

That does make sense.

No reason to start the clock before they're ready to process people from the list.

Which brings to mind another line of inquiry, how many people are on the promotional list, and what percentage of people typically take the promotion if offered to them?

Thanks to the experienced people for providing some guidance to those of us trying to get on. Fundamentally the list will issue when Transit decides they're ready. They won't be rushed.

They last group out of 8094 will be done by the end of the month. Next month they will move onto the promotional list. So we still have some waiting to do. We haven't even gotten list numbers yet which is usually when they will start calling people off the list. Meanwhile keep your health in order and stay out of trouble. Take care of your parking or traffic tickets. Stay positive and it will come.

hey everyone who took 6601, i hate being the bearer of bad news but if anyone here had any hopes that the list will come out shortly or that we were going to be called in a year or 2, dont hold your breath..

im so utterly disappointed ... but congrats to 8094 for their list being extended once again,

here is a original quote from the chief,

"Whereas a restriction against the filling of vacancies due to budgetary constraints has limited the number of Conductors the New York City Transit Authority has been able to appoint, on Feb. 1, 2017, the duration of the existing list for this title, based on Exam No. 8094, was extended to February 16, 2018. The test was given on Dec. 6, 2008 and the resulting list established in May 2011."
