MTA Long Island Bus?

What 's the deal with MTA Long Island Bus? I seen some LIB buses in the "True Blue"(blue stripe) livery. :eek: Did MTA Bus or what ever make a move? if so, then why do the buses still say "Long Island Bus" on them? :confused:

Last time I checked only 193 had a blue retape and I heard 1/3 of the buses are going to (MTA)Bus. Also I noticed that those three light things in the backs are getting covered up.

As of right now, the MTA is just applying the blue stripe on the buses. They're still planning out the joining of MTA Bus and Long Island Bus.

So they're doing the restriping first?

I would think that they should keep their separate livery. But if it's true that buses are being moved to MTAB, then it would make sense.

(I wonder if they have the renumbering scheme worked out)
