ttcsubwayfan Posted December 4, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2015 a.k.a: new camera test The last of the TTC's Orion Vs ran in service today, at midday. The last surviving the series, the former CNG 9400-9449, have been slowly retiring since late 2013, and retirements sped up after the Pan Am games this summer. This week only 5 units were left - 9402, 9411, 9419, 9430 and 9433, and the only one that made it out today was 9411. As of 11:30 AM, there are no revenue high floor buses in the TTC's fleet. The streetcars alone provide high floor service now. When I got to Downsview, 9411 was already there - she was trolling behind some VIIs. DS4Ever Posted December 5, 2015 Share #2 Posted December 5, 2015 So the TTC has no more Orion 5??? Here in NYC the last Orion v are to be retired possibly between 2017-2019 since here the limit for a bus to run is 20 years. ..what are seemingly retirin . Are the tmc rts from 1996 since it is almost 20 years of bus live But i can tell you this TTC w/o Orion V is not TTC. ..i grew up seeing the majority of TTC buses in orion v and also new fishbowl GM

The TTC and the streets of Toronto will feel very different without these buses, and the sadly long retired New Looks. They'd become a fixture. Nice coverage, but it's spelled "Orion" not "Onion". I know, I was being facetious.
