Following an earlier incident, and train service has resumed with residual delays.

 

In addition, due to a train with ongoing mechanical problems at the 14th Street Station, selected South Ferry-bound trains are running on the express track between the 34h Street-Penn Station and the Chambers Street Station.

 

Please expect delays in service on the(1) , and trains at this time.

 

Why "selected trains". How could any train pass the one that has problems?

Let me guess: either interns on duty, or trains run local between those stations, and just make one stop on the express track at 14th St...

acually the and was suspended from chambers to Atlantic

 

I was on the IRT Lex line going to the bronx when I saw loads of via Lex heading to 241st White Plains and Flatbush...
