Myrtle Local Posted September 25, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 25, 2008 Saw something new today...After waiting about 10 mintues at 23rd St/Broadway station around 530pm a train came in and was going to continue along the to Brooklyn. It was an R160B and even the FIND was set with all the stops along the after Whitehall St. The outside display read: W Bay Ridge - 95th Street via Whitehall Astoria LCL Broadway LCL I only rode one stop to Union Square but didn't get a chance to snap a shot, I know it's a rarity. Must've been a problem with the coming from Queens because I saw them on the uptown side Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

At least according to the station announcements. I don't know if that had anything to do with this reroute. It's fairly rare, but I have taken (W)s to 95 St a few times when slants still ruled the line.
