mark1447 685 Posted September 27, 2008 Share #2 Posted September 27, 2008 might me, i didnt heard this... It might be for the goodbye of shea stadium , just like the yankeez:rolleyes: also it may not be only the 33WF, but the SMEE seeing that there is only one set of 33WF painted wf i think LONG LIVE THE METS! metsfan 2 Posted September 27, 2008 Share #3 Posted September 27, 2008 They might run a few sets of different retired cars. There are tons of redbirds at corona yard, i'm sure they have in mind to use more than just the train of many colors. - A
Blackmanor1000 0 Posted September 27, 2008 Share #4 Posted September 27, 2008 I'd like to go and catch it. I heard it leaves TSQ at 10:45AM, so, I'm going . Worse case scenario, no train and I can just railfan.

Blackmanor1000 0 Posted September 27, 2008 Share #8 Posted September 27, 2008 It doesn't say it's a transit museum Fan trip event like that BMT Coney Island and IRT Fantrip a few months back. So I assume it's free.
Fred G 63 Posted September 27, 2008 Share #9 Posted September 27, 2008 Oh it's running alright and running in revenue service. That means you can board and ride it like it's a regular 7 train. I think (but don't know) it will do similar as last week's Yankee Stadium jaunt. That is leave TSQ, run express up to Shea and lay up on the express track until the game starts. Then it's back to the yard. Just my guess

Bracamonte 124 Posted September 28, 2008 Share #16 Posted September 28, 2008 Its only one trip. After it stops at Willets Point, it will stay there until the game starts. At that point, the train will head back to the yard.
