Harry 1,088 Posted August 24, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 24, 2007 August 31, 2007 is the day Halloween comes back Rob Zombie style. My favorite horror franchise of all time is back and hopefully better than ever. Let's see how this remake will stand up to (in my opinion the best) the classic original Halloween (1978). Tracknut 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 24, 2007 Looks promising. I never seen Devils Rejects so I don't what Rob Zombie is capable of.
R1Toasty 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 24, 2007 Hmm, horror movies seem like they're pretty easy to make, I think he should go back to music. Of course, I'm not a horror movie fan...
TransitGuy 1 Posted August 24, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 24, 2007 I actually saw Devil's rejects and I thought it was good. I am interested in seeing the new Halloween movie since it seems to be a bit different (shows more of Michael's childhood). Also, Rob Zombie always seems to put a nice twist in his movies so we will have to wait.
Harry 1,088 Posted August 24, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted August 24, 2007 Looks promising. I never seen Devils Rejects so I don't what Rob Zombie is capable of. I also watched Devils Rejects and enjoyed it pretty much. This will be Halloween with a Rob Zombie twist to it.
TransitGuy 1 Posted August 27, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 27, 2007 Does anyone know if this remake is going to have sequels to it? (I know its a bit early to tell but you never know).
Harry 1,088 Posted August 28, 2007 Author Share #7 Posted August 28, 2007 Does anyone know if this remake is going to have sequels to it? (I know its a bit early to tell but you never know). I read that its not going to be a remake like most of us thought. It's going to be a re-imagined version. So it's basically a whole new Halloween with the same characters but just told differently. TransitGuy 1 Posted September 1, 2007 Share #9 Posted September 1, 2007 Sorry for the double post but I just saw the new Halloween and it was pretty good. In my opinion this really wasn't much of a remake since its pretty different form the original but in my opinion it turned out to be in a good way.
