Brighton Express Posted June 28, 2016 Share #2 Posted June 28, 2016 I guess it was coming sooner rather than later. Nice.
bentton316 Posted June 29, 2016 Share #3 Posted June 29, 2016 I honestly don't like em. don't know why the MTA went that route to do that to the 188's. maybe it's me. idk.

The only reason I don't like is because they only did the bullet, and not the whole sign like they should've.
Gotham Bus Co. Posted June 29, 2016 Share #5 Posted June 29, 2016 The only reason I don't like is because they only did the bullet, and not the whole sign like they should've. They should have allowed for a two-character route designation and used "7X" for express trips.
Brighton Express Posted June 29, 2016 Share #6 Posted June 29, 2016 They should have allowed for a two-character route designation and used "7X" for express trips. I think that would just be a bit confusing to the riders. The fact that they did it on the R62s makes it an easy and simple change.
IAlam Posted June 29, 2016 Share #7 Posted June 29, 2016 A lot of times when your above ground you can't even see the LCD's unless it's dark. It would be better if they just replaced the whole sign
Jose Angel Posted June 29, 2016 Share #8 Posted June 29, 2016 It would look nice at night since it is more brighter. Nice. I think the MTA should do this to all R142/A's, and the R188's. But the MTA should do this more to the R62's from the 3, and the R62A's from the 1 with the LED Rollingsigns like the R62A's of the 6 and the 7 train. And the reason we hate it on the NTTs is because they already state an express/local, and the extra add on makes little progress for those riders, plus the R188s got their upgraded signage half-assed.
