jimbob60 Posted July 2, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 2, 2016 I caught 9183-9187 on the E on June 30. I boarded the last car and did not see the #'s on the lead set. I thought 9193 was first Kawasaki car assigned to Jamaica giving a 540/750 split between CI and Jam on the 5 car set 160's since 9143-9192 went back to CI some years ago. Any reason for the change? Slightly related, how many sets of 68's if any run on the N/Q. I saw 1 set running some time back from the street in the AM rush. With 540 160's, there should be no need for 68's on the N/Q
R32 3838 Posted July 2, 2016 Share #2 Posted July 2, 2016 9163-9192 were delivered to Jamaica first and in 2010 they went to CI
Interested Rider Posted July 2, 2016 Share #3 Posted July 2, 2016 There were two 68's headed for Coney Island last Wednesday about 11 AM. I saw them after my train left Coney Island with one between 86th Street and Coney Island
alsooh86 Posted August 19, 2016 Share #4 Posted August 19, 2016 They are moving 160s from coney island to Jamaica and some of the older tech cars will be going to coney island probably in the next year or so
Union Tpke Posted August 19, 2016 Share #5 Posted August 19, 2016 I am a regular rider of the train and I have seen #9183–9187 on there for some time. Nothing new.
