DaTransitMan4608 Posted July 14, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 14, 2016 He needs to resign or be impeached. Every time I think he can't screw NJ Transit patrons/employees over any worse than he already has, he goes and proves me wrong. http://www.nj.com/traffic/index.ssf/2016/07/stop_building_our_new_buses_nj_transit_tells_supplier.html Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app

Cait Sith Posted July 14, 2016 Share #3 Posted July 14, 2016 The situation goes much farther than just these buses, the problems are much worse. With the state's transportation budget completely depleted, there's no way he can repair the crumbling infrastructure within New Jersey. Bridges, roads, tunnels and a lot more are crumbling because of his incompetence. I do agree though, he needs to be impeached.
TimDaEmeraldWizard Posted July 15, 2016 Share #4 Posted July 15, 2016 He cannot even take care of the transit system correctly. His corruption broke the TTF. Screwing everybody over. Aging buses are not being taken care of. We need an impeachment, and fast.
QM1to6Ave Posted July 15, 2016 Share #5 Posted July 15, 2016 To be fair, it's not like Christie inherited a perfectly well run and maintained network of roads. I'm not saying he didn't make things worse, but jersey roads haven't been in a state of good repair for a long time now.
46Dover Posted July 15, 2016 Share #6 Posted July 15, 2016 This may be a situation similar to when New York City went bankrupt in the 70s. Maybe the federal government will step in and help

Fan Railer Posted October 21, 2016 Share #10 Posted October 21, 2016 Any update on this, since the tax increase was signed? Has production resumed, or are we still waiting for the tax to go into effect first?

46Dover Posted October 23, 2016 Share #12 Posted October 23, 2016 I've seen that the new MCIs for Community Coach that were being held in Piscataway are now on the property. I've also read that State Senators made a bill to repel the gas tax *eyeroll*. When I was discussing this with a co-worker he didn't seem the least bit surprised, even though I heard through the grapevine there's supposed to be a box on a ballot to show that the gas tax goes solely to the TTF and nowhere else when we vote in November. He also scoffed at that, saying that Transit money allocated from the government hasn't been going where is should (if you know what I mean), which is kinda pathetic in and of itself. scottylightning Posted November 4, 2016 Share #17 Posted November 4, 2016 I saw bus 17042 (unmarked) early Thursday afternoon along I-380 southbound around Mount Pocono(I was heading northbound); the message board displayed said "Test Bus No Passengers".
