List Status:  This list has been established as of September 9, 2018

Pay: Starts at $34.16 and increases to $39.81

Highest List Number Called: For initial Pre-Employment: (Last Reported 3800's) - For Medical: (Last Reported 3800's)

Training: Monday thru Friday, across three 8-hour tours (AMs, PMs, overnights), unless otherwise specified

My list # is 161*

I went Friday AM for my second PE ( 1st was 11/29 )

It was really quiet and I was out by 11am. Igor(?) told me that there would be an August class  but they didn’t have an exact date yet and really had no idea about classes going forward. 

A conductor who was there for a random did tell me that they were expecting mass retirements over the next few years and that they would be hiring lots of TO’s

My first p/e was 12/3 so I should be expecting a letter or email soon I hope, did they email you or call you? And did you know a week in advance that you had to go or was it the same week?

I received an email and a phone call 10 days prior to my PE and a letter about a week before.

Good luck to all! Took 2nd PE 6/27 (1st one was 11/27). During orientation the grey hair man in charge of training (name slips mind @ moment) said that if we where here then we should be getting called soon for july class. He admitted he’s not too sure and that cant be true based on knowledge available (currently up to about 1060 and im list #15**), but good news is they are definitely expecting an August class.  And by then should be pushing low 1400’s. So i expect medical by fall and in there by end of year @ this rate. MTA gets their budgets quarterly thats why they never know too far ahead about classes, but things should continue smoothly barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Hang in there you'll get called, I know that waiting feeling it's all part of the process. The other day I ran into a T/O in the 700's (randomly in a store) who was really cool, he told me that they really need people and they are handing out lots of overtime. He offered me advice and even gave me his contact info if I needed any help or advice in the future. They'll call soon kev2112, we're not far from each other, hope to see you whenever our class comes around. Peace ✌

There is an August class on the 19th. Got it direct from 180.
