Train Operator, Exam No. 7604

List Status:  This list has been established as of September 9, 2018

Pay: Starts at $34.16 and increases to $39.81

Highest List Number Called: For initial Pre-Employment: (Last Reported 3800's) - For Medical: (Last Reported 3800's)

Training: Monday thru Friday, across three 8-hour tours (AMs, PMs, overnights), unless otherwise specified

Theres an induction of 6 train operators that started last week. Im from the july induction. If this helps as hope, the july induction is done with school car march 5. And last week multiple people retired about 3 per day on some days. Hopefully when the 6 people class gets settled and the june induction is officially out of school car, you guys will get some positive news. June class is leaving school car very soon.

The last time I was called it was weeks after the certification expired, so I'm guessing they can still make the call. Mines expired on the 6th this month. But you're right it's been too quiet on the thread.  List number 15XX

I heard. Last day of yx for the august induction today. We'll be out on the road with the July class by March, if things keep going well.

Understand just because the contract is forming a committee for discussions does not mean both parties will resolve anything other than saying "YOU'RE FIRED!!!" or "GO F YOURSELF!!".

We are dealing with a bunch of lawyers whose main goal is saving as much money as possible, who look at its skilled employees as liabilities rather than assets, who are always finding ways to shift blame on failing production (i.e. blame the contractor game).

It's not like my NO vote counted anyways.

I heard many people didn't even get the ballots in the mail.

As previous posters mentioned, I have been with T/O's who said they were putting their retirement papers in this year. So as always, it's a waiting game.

Hello everyone. I haven’t been on the forums for a while (since I was hired as a Station Agent in 2017). I just added myself back on the list with DCAS . I declined the provisional title and the permanent title back in late 2018. I was pregnant and unable to take the job at that time . My list number is 7xx and in reading a lot on this thread I see that they have passed my number for some time. I believe I get put on the top of the list since they have passed my number but I’m not sure. I see too that the last class was in October which a friend of mine is in. His list number was 3xx and he said the process was pretty fast. What should I expect If I haven’t done the drug test yet? What happens now ? Thanks

When 180 calls, you'll do the drug test and medical. They have your information on file already, so you should skip some of the paperwork.
