I start tomorrow and it took about 3.5 weeks from getting the canvas letter to getting sworn in. The longest wait was after submitting the application from the canvas (a little less than 2 weeks). Things moved pretty quickly after that

On the paper it says it has to be a grey collared shirt and it doesn't say it can't be a polo so idk

It has to be a dress shirt. You have to wear the uniform representative of being a conductor and since they don't wear polos, you can't either.

Play it safe and go with a button down shirt.

We are suppose to be able to order blue polos next month or so along with other uniform items when the new vendor is ready, but right now, it's still button down shirts.

Best of luck to all those starting this week.  I am currently 20 days away from clearing a medical hold (Sleep apnea) and hope to be joining you soon.  If any of you that have cleared medical holds for sleep apnea could reach out to me through messaging or on here, I would appreciate it. FYI had first day of school car yesterday and was told polo shirts with a collar was fine to wear. I guess it depends on who your instructor is.

They said they’re going to re certify the list on the week of the 6th, I’m assuming that will be when everyone will be hearing for the next round of hiring

When I cleared mine last week , they told me to email dcas to be put back on list, what did they say to you?

Was just informed this morning to contact DCAS to be placed back on the list

This most likely means they're recertifying this or next week for Oct/Nov class.  Let us know how it goes

I'm road posting now and in 2 days we been skipped ahead 3 out of 4 trips due to lack of crews. Shit is crazy i cant wait to come out n make some $$$$$.
