Porter Posted February 10, 2018 Author Share #76 Posted February 10, 2018 As some of you may know, construction on the Cortlandt Street Station cannot be completed until the WBVA (West Bathtub Vehicular Access) is at least completed to street level. It's going, albeit slowly, but I noticed something odd. There's one small corner of the WBVA that has poured concrete in place, and it looks like it's also the northwest corner of the station box. Could it be that they are finishing that section earlier and more quickly so that the station can open sooner? I see what looks like an elevator opening right where the said they would build one. There should also be a staircase, but what looks like a stair cutout is too close to Greenwich Street and oriented the wrong way.
