tripleeye49 Posted September 6, 2016 Share #1 Posted September 6, 2016 http://jpwright.net/subway/ On the site listed above, you can create new subway / light rail lines start with a blank canvas and plot any location with the NYC Metro Area to have a subway stop. Can load up current subway system, the 1972 style map, or the 2025 Planned Service, which includes the BQX, and the Triboro RX. Can save your work to be uploaded to another computer as long as you upload it to the website for others to see. Have fun recreating the NYC Subway / Light Rail / SBS Network. Also you can go to this site for the RGB numbers of the subway / commuter rail system: http://web.mta.info/developers/resources/line_colors.htm

LongLiveRock Posted September 9, 2016 Share #12 Posted September 9, 2016 Save just pops up a bunch of random code. I believe it depends on what browser you use - works best on Chrome.
Union Tpke Posted September 9, 2016 Share #13 Posted September 9, 2016 If you pick load and click on your downloaded file everything should appear the way you left it. Where do you download it? It doesn't appear on Safari. I believe it depends on what browser you use - works best on Chrome. I will try Chrome. When the game first came out it did not work at all on Safari and told the creator, who fixed it. I should probably tell him.

LTA1992 Posted September 10, 2016 Share #15 Posted September 10, 2016 Not touching it until I can re-purpose existing lines under new colors. My system can't be created otherwise as there are only so many letters in the alphabet.
tripleeye49 Posted September 11, 2016 Author Share #16 Posted September 11, 2016 In one version, I had created a bunch of light rail lines, and in another created B-division numbered lines (21 & up).
tripleeye49 Posted September 11, 2016 Author Share #17 Posted September 11, 2016 A rough draft, of my proposal. No IRT expansion, except by the 3 train in East NY. I used numbers 21 & up for B-division. Will use LRxx for Light Rail. https://www.filefactory.com/file/6xf70usndi7b/bns_saved_game%20%281%29.json

LongLiveRock Posted September 11, 2016 Share #21 Posted September 11, 2016 Sorry for the double post, but when it comes to having multiple services stop at a local station, how do I keep the bubble black? If there is an express train which skips that stop, it should remain black, no?
LTA1992 Posted September 11, 2016 Share #22 Posted September 11, 2016 No. It stays black sometimes, but most times turns white the moment a second service is added. Sent from my N9132 using Tapatalk
Lance Posted September 11, 2016 Share #23 Posted September 11, 2016 That I really don't have an answer for. You have to play around with the local and express lines to get the correct stop dot for a local or express station.
tripleeye49 Posted September 11, 2016 Author Share #24 Posted September 11, 2016 If you are going to build a trunck line, have the express stops defined first. Then create the local stops.
