TheNewYorkElevated Posted October 1, 2016 #1 Posted October 1, 2016 Last month, I went to Niagara Falls for a few days. Here are the buses of this area. I explain these in detail at the end. Enjoy! 9/1/2016 9/2/2016 9/3/2016 About the transportation seen here The green trolleys you see here are done by the park itself. It runs around the area as a way to get around. It is popular amongst tourists. I recommend a ride on it. NFTA-Metro- This is basically the MTA of western New York. They operate in Buffalo along with routes (seen here) to Niagara Falls. They are more well known for operating a light rail line in Buffalo currently in consideration for some extensions. Their bus fleet is mainly Gilligs and Novas (as seen here). Some Gilligs (also seen here) are used as trolleys between downtown Niagara Falls and a mall. The trolley also goes to Niagara Falls International Airport (which is heavily used by lesser known airlines). WEGO- This is a bus system meant to help visitors mainly get around the area of the Canadian side of the falls. Buses go around the general area of the place. They have a massive fleet of Novas, and a majority of them are articulated. I don't know about that trolley in the 11th picture, but it must exist to help tourists get around.

IAlam Posted October 17, 2016 #4 Posted October 17, 2016 I find it weird how they go from Gillig buses to Nova buses. That's like throwing normal and coach buses the on the same line
theaveragejoe Posted November 19, 2016 #5 Posted November 19, 2016 NFTA retired one of the last MCI Classics in the USA two months ago. It was a Nova Classic
