Think of imaginary situations where certain roads, bridges, or areas are shut down for whatever reason and certain buses have to be re-routed. Then, allow others to re-route the buses. I'll start. Via Garibaldi 8 Posted October 25, 2016 Share #2 Posted October 25, 2016 Time to start a new thread for this after the old one disappeared. Think of imaginary situations where certain roads, bridges, or areas are shut down for whatever reason and certain buses have to be re-routed. Then, allow others to re-route the buses. I'll start. The Broadway Bridge has collapsed and the Bx7, Bx20, BxM1 and train are effected. Re-route 'em That would cause a serious traffic mess but the re-route would be as follows: Bx7 re-routed from Broadway via 230th street, via Bailey Avenue and via Sedgwick to 207th street and then regular (all stops in between will be skipped). Bx20 re-routed from Broadway via 230th street, via Bailey Avenue and via Sedgwick to 207th street, terminating at 207th street (all stops in between will be skipped). BxM1 (via Inwood only) re-routed via 230th street, via Bailey Avenue and via Sedgwick to 207th street skipping the Broadway and 219th/220th street stops in both directions. All other BxM1s operate as Super Expresses via the Major Deegan and would continue as is. service - No service between 242nd street/Van Cortlandt Park and 168th street. Passengers take shuttle buses to 207th street for the train and connect to the at 168th street (assuming that is possible, otherwise I know some trains start at 137th street). ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's another one that was very popular: Due to ConEd work, Northbound Bx10, Bx20, BxM1, BxM2, BxM18 and Hudson Rail Link shuttle buses are re-routed from the Henry Hudson Parkway Service Road at Henry Hudson Parkway East and West 232nd street. What would the re-route be?
