I'dhad to oopen this thread feel free to comment on the busy busagency. Of Baltimore and suburban areas

For starters i want to comment on a possible separation of MTA-MD 15 into two routes. ..15 from CMS Security to Center area and the second. Route relabeled #55 from center city to Bel Air...another hhypothetical separation is maintain the current #15 run from Social Security. To Overlea bus Transfer and there have a new route (#55) run every 2 hours to Bel Air centre and thus have connection with Harford Transit ...to methe second option is rather the best

I've got some friends out there who are trying to get to get me to make the move to MD and I was thinking about putting in an application with MTA Maryland. How is the life out there? In general and regarding B/O Operations?

For the most part is identical as New York some bus routes are 24/7 like the 8, 15, 35 as well as the 14 and 17 advancing to U of MD in the center afterhours. ..some stores are 24 hours to me is more identical to Philadelphia than NYC and not as dead as Washington which at 3am is sparsely inhabited

MTA-MD is a good job and the bus lines are coordinated. As well as the Subway and Light Rail

for a future MTA-MD 83 bus to run from White Marsh mall to Harford Mall via Belair Road bihourly

it is the best option to connect Baltimore to Bel Air and a possible connection to Havre de Grace via Aberdeen will be a reality

all is to wish that the bridge that connects Havre de Grace to Perryville has a pedestrian walkway installed by this a trip from Bmore to Perryville will be $4.40 or $2.70 if coming out from White Marsh mall and itineraries of the proposed MTA-MD 83

hope Maryland Transit Administration can implement this route a reality

WELL FOLKS IN ONE WEEKS TIME MTA MARYLAND WILL LAUNCH ITS FIRST EVER BRT BASED BUSES AND WITH THIS ITS CURRENT ROUTES WILL SUFFER RENUMBERINGS THAT IS THAT THEY WILL HAVE A NEW ROUTE ASSINGED IN EFFECT WHEN THE FAMOUS BALTIMORE LINK WILL BE LAUNCHED...WITH THIS THE MTA MARYLAND WILL PASSED WHAT WE HERE IN NEW YORK CITY PASSED THROUGH WHEN MANY OF OUR ROUTES WE HAVE TODAY WERE RENUMBERED BACK IN THE 80S (30 YEARS AGO) TO DATE THE RENUMBERINGS OF OUR (MTA) BUSES HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE FUTURE OF THE AUTHORITY SINCE NOW THE AGENCY HAS ONE OF THE MOST BUSES IN ITS FLEET WITH ALMOST 6000 UNITS...BACK TO BALTIMORE, THE RENUMBERINGS HAS MUCH TO DO WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE BALTIMORE LINK SO FOR INSTANCE THE MTA-MD 15 WILL BE RENUMBERED TO HAVE THREE ROUTES COVER ITS CURRENT ROUTE SO IF YOURE GOING FROM SOCIAL SECURITY TO OVERLEA  YOU MUST PURCHASE A DAY PASS TO CONTINUE YOUR ROUTE TOWARDS ENDS POINT AND VICE VERSA...SO NO $1.70 ONE WAY SINCE IT WOULD BE OBSOLETE...MUCH OF THE QUICKBUS WOULD SUFFER MINOR ADJUSTMENTS AS FOR THE FAMOUS MTA-MD 14 AND 17 THESE TWO ROUTES WILL NOT SUFFER AND CHANGES IN ITS CURRENT ROUTES EXCEPTION WOULD BE AN OBSOLETE DETOUR ON ROUTE 14 BEFORE COMING TO JUMPERS HOLE ABD THE ROUTE 17 WILL OBSOLETE A SMALL PORTION OF IS ROUTE ACCESS BETWEEN ARUNDEL MILLS AND BWI AIRPORT BOTH CASES BECAUSE OF LOW RIDERSHIP...AS FOR ITS NEW RENUMBERINGS WELL THE NO. 14 WOULD BE BROKEN INTO TWO ROUTES THE #69 AND #70...THE FIRST ROUTE WOULD COVER THE SHORT TURN OF THE CURRENT #14 TERMINATING AT JUMPERS HOLE VIA THE SUPER WALMART AS FOR THE #70 WOULD COVER THE LONG #14 ROUTE ALL THE WAY TO ANNAPOLIS SO WITH THIS THE LONGEST ROUTE OF MTA MARYLAND WILL AS BY ONE WEEKS TINE BE THE #70 BUS HOWEVER DUE TO THE FACT FOR THE ACCOUSTIMG OF THE RESIDENTS FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS THE #70 BUS WILL BE PUTTEN IN PARETHESIS (#14) FOR BETTER CLARIFYING THE ROUTE TO AVOID CONFUSIONS...THE MTA-MD 17 WILL BE RENUMBERED MTA-MD 75 AND NO TERMINATION AT PARKWAY SOUTH  AS FOR MORE SERVICE TO ARUNDEL MILLS

NOW HERES WHERE IT TICKS ME OFF A LITTLE BIT...WITH ALL THESES CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS THE AGENCY HAS NOT LOOK DEEP IN THE BOX WITH AN INCLUSION OF A BUS ROUTE TOWARDS BEL AIR DEPARTING FROM WHITE MARSH MALL WHERE THERE ARE CONNECTION TO MANY MTA-MD BUSES LIKE FOR INSTANCE THE #35 TO CENTER CITY...LIKE MENTIONES A FEW MONTHS AGO THE MTA-MARYLAND SHOULD HAVE JUST ONE UNIT TO RUN ITS ROUTE FROM WHITE MARSH MALL TO BEL AIR WHICH ACCOUNTING OF HEADWAYS WOULD BE BIHOURLY THAT IS IF YOURE DEPARTING FROM WHITE MARSH MALL AT 10AM THERE WILL NOT BE ANOTHER BUS TIL 12PM AND SO ON AND VICE VERSA WILL BE 9AM 11AM 1PM SO ON...THE NEW FACT IS THE NEW RENUMBERING WILL LIKELY BE IN THE TRIPLE DIGITS BUT THIS ROUTE MUST COME INTO EFFECT ITS A MUST AND WITH MUCH IF THE BRIGDE CROSSING AT SUSQUEHANNA RIVER DELTA COMES TO EFFECT BY HAVING A PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY...WITH THIS ONE WOULD PAY NEARLY HALF THE NOMINAL FARE FROM BALTIMRE TO PERRYVILE AT$4.40 SINCE TAKING TWO MTA BUSES ARE $3.40 AND THE H.T. 1 IS JUST A MERE DOLLAR...WELL THATS IS ALL TO EYES OF THE TRANSIT AGENCY THIS ROUTE IS A MUST IF THERES AN ACCESS TO ANNAPOLIS WHICH IS FARTHER AWAY THAN BEL AIR WHY NOT A BUS ROUTE TO BEL AIR...THIS WILL FILL UP THE GAP OF LOCAL BUS AGENCIES BETWEEN WASHINGTON AND PHILADELPHIA

WELL HOPE SOME OF YOU MARYLAND RESIDENTS ENJOY THE NEW BALTIMORE LINK HOPE SOMEDAY TO RIDE THIS NEW LOOK OF MTA MARYLAND AS MUCH THE NEW COLOR SCHEME HEHE...SALUTATIONS
