Daniel The Cool 3,780 Posted October 3, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 3, 2008 I'm thinking of going railfaning tomorrow since my school is closed. What Manhattan stations should I do to hunt for the slants besides W 116th Street and W 145th Street
Paul P 0 Posted October 3, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 3, 2008 I would have said 145th Street, but choose a station with an island platform.

RokuSix 3 Posted October 4, 2008 Share #6 Posted October 4, 2008 I agree with Brutticus, although it's the Bronx, Bedford Park Boulevard is a great place to check them out. You don't even have to stay in the station ,you can usually see them in the yards at Jerome. Or 34th/Herald Square would probably be a good station. You'd have to run around but you'd probably see one.
