NJ may sue Amtrak over NEC rent due to trainderailment

Gov. Christie is directing the state Attorney General & NJT to stop making monthly rent payments to Amtrak until the NEC is in stage of good repair, and then may sue Amtrak for refunds from 2016 payments.

Well, that WAS what David Gunn was trying to do in the short time he was there, unfortunately the political hacks decided that wasn't what they wanted to do and fired him

Apparently, the (MTA) has also requested a meeting ASAP with Amtrak to discuss what is going on and when things will be back to normal.  Passengers are extremely frustrated, and who can blame them.  Some folks are spending  $50.00 a day just to get and to from work since this mess started, and that's likely in addition to their monthly or weekly passes.

I saw that too. (MTA) and NJT are now gunning for Amtrak

What a joke. They still weren't done before the morning rush, causing LIRR to cancel another 10 trains and NJT saw delays as well.
