ya i know, i remembered bk an 2004, it was a Domincan Rep Day in the bronx, i was on the Bx40 or 42 when a grup of domincans requested the B/O to let him free, like six and then they went to the back and pulled that switch down LOL to put up here huge flag outside, B/O got pissed lol 0_0

"Touch Tape Bypass" switch in bus operator's compartment will turn the stop request off. Plenty of my friends will use it when the rowdies from 141, Kennedy, or Clinton press the tape excessively. Then the kids are like WTF. Love the switch, and the bus operators that use it (no homo).

Touch Tape bypass switch does not shut off the Next Stop Chime.

Oops. I always thought that was the switch. I forgot what the name of the switch was now.

Touch Tape bypass stops the back doors from staying open. Example, you press the yellow tape on the back doors and it does nothing. you have to hit the chime mute button so you dont her the chime of the bell.
