Novabus 5000 669 Posted October 5, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2008 I talked to the double decker bus driver today and he said that one new 2008 is at yukon all white. It is 2210. It has a detriot desiel engine series 60 and untill it is switched it will remain at yukon. The rest have mechanics problems. the cat engines are a problem. And there are about 50-60 built and ready to go, with 40 (IIRC) of that number in Piscataway, NJ. And no, it has nothing to do with MCI's financial problems.... Trevor mentioned it a while back...the buses need to have their tailpipes moved to the top because the exhaust to comply with clean air regulations is so hot that it would be a fire hazard.
