Excellent photo!

I remember the Jackie Gleason bus from Cultural Festival in Battery Park event, and I remember #2151 as last December's Vintage Bus run on 42nd St and 34th St crosstown.

 

I remember New York Bus Service and Liberty Lines Express.

$4 NYBS operator on BxM9, took me home to 3rd Av/86th St from Mad Av/26th St even thought it was only pickup.

 

$4 Liberty Lines Express BxM1 was my first ride after field trip dismissal at Ft. Tryon Park, so fieldtrip mate who lives in uptown escorted me to 207th St bus stop and waited until bus arrive, and i took that bus to Lex Av/42nd St.

It was wonderful.
