I mean I don't mind my current job.. I work only 3 straight days full-time, and I have 4 straight days off, steady. OT is usually open. Con to that is I have more time to think about this job lol I'll try to read every now and then but it'll just drive us all crazy. Everyone deserves a second chance of course. There are a lot of guys underground that have felonies. I myself have had a license for 4 years and I have never had to go to court in my life, not even for a ticket, except for jury duty, but the job ain't guaranteed for any of us until we get sworn in..

My boy told me to just make sure my license is CURRENT and VALID with no tickets owed at the time of application processing. Simple as that. Pay the DMV what you owe and stay out of trouble. I personally have to pay my little parking tickets as well but its worth it.

@premoCASINO718 so does that mean that I will need a license to get a position if I was offered one? Hope not bc it’s for a track worker. See if you could find out. If you don’t mind?

You don’t need a license I got on with just my learners permit, just make sure you have a non expired license/permit/id. There is positions you’ll be locked out of those without a cdl. And as stated no outstanding tickets.

@Queensqueens111 thanks I appreciate it!!! I just paid judgements against me and I don’t think I have any tickets bc I think they got dropped when I went to college. If you get my drift lol. But I appreciate the info. And I’m number 24** on the list so I think you said more than 2yrs to get called. So maybe 3yrs you think?

Took 5 years to call me on the last test with a list number of 26xx. Real no way of knowing how long, I don’t even know if the Subway Action Plan is still in effect, they could go back to the total number of track employees before it was signed. The SAP forced the MTA to hire more track employees and bump there total number up, they may not want to keep this new total up.

Woooooo. Hey it is what it is then as long as I get in. I have nothing but time. Just stay at my job until I get called. What happens when it expires tho? Cuz it said it will be active from 2020-2024. Will they still call or no?

In an effort to hide your identity, can you please hide the last digit or two of your list number? As an example, my list number for this exam is 2,2** so I can say my list number is in the "2,200's" or "2,2XX" or something to that nature.

Keep me posted. I’ll be following this forum from now on.

As per the guidelines, can you please refrain from "bumping" this topic? I know you're excited, speaking to current track workers, etc., however there are rules and regulations which we ask everyone to follow.

Thank you.

I had contacted the MTA employment center and they said the only way to update my address was to go in person. I had updated my address in the DCAS online. I still haven't received my test results or any notice from MTA. I'm currently out of state , is there any other way I can have my address updated to ensure I receive all future employment mail ? I'm ranked in the high 700's and worried if this isn't resolved,  I will lose my employment chance.

Does anyone know how many people got hired from the 3600 test and what number they stopped on?

According to my sources, they hired approximately 830 people from the prior exam and they stopped on list number 34**.
