Hi everyone

can anyone reply with a link to Track worker information like wage progression and how the job is like from current track workers and promotion ranks

thanks

list number 6xx

Starting trackworker pay is $24.17 and it’s 5 years to top pay (beginning of 6th year) and top pay is currently 34.52. We were set to get a wage increase in May 2021 of 2.50% and 2.75 in May of 2022 but as of now MTA is freezing wages.

Im super hype! 😃

I received an email 2 days ago for the canvass. They basically want to know if you're interested in the position or not. Of course I am but just for information purposes...

I am list number 2xx.

The paperwork is pretty standard from my perspective (work history, job history, driving record, few signatures etc). They want you to reply by MARCH 5, 2021!

I JUST replied to the email with all the completed forms. I personally printed the forms and filled them out, scanned the documents and emailed them. There is an option for completing this canvass online using the link in the email so whatever works for you guys is cool. I will definitely stay active on here and keep everyone updated on the process. I also have a close friend who has been in the RAIL GANG for about 10 years so I have a little extra insight into this job. I wish everyone on here good luck!  Just wanted to throw my experience out there to help any way that I can. Lets get this💰💸🤑

Check your spam and junk mail

I have everyday since I’ve gotten the phone call. Still nothing. I wish I was able to contact someone in the mta and find out what’s going on. Everytime I click the employment option on the phone it automatically hangs up. I need help please. I can’t miss this opportunity

I just received my email. Quick question for the drug screening part. Do we have to go to the doctor and do the drug test or do we do the drug test when the mta tells us to come in?

They will let you know when to come in and do the drug test.

First, as far as the paperwork is concerned, between the work and/or job history, driving record, etc., they asked you to fill out this packet and e-mail it back to them, right? I just want to try to be clear as far as what the next group of people should be expecting when the time comes.

Second, I know you're "hype" and everything to that nature, however have you read the guidelines of the website, especially when it comes to "Fonts and Grammar" under the "Forum Etiquette" section? Going forward, if you can keep this in mind, it would be appreciated.

Finally, if you can keep us posted with your progress, it would be truly appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes, it has to be emailed back to them. They provide the email address within the email. But... there is also a link you can copy and paste to fill the forms out online so there is that option as well. In case someone doesn't have access to a printer and what not.

I apologize for the fonts and grammar used.

Hi everyone

I started the new bus operator 10 day training today, I also received the email to respond for track worker 8600 by March 5.

I was just wondering what should I do if I want to do track work instead of bus operator?

Thanks

You just started today, meaning you are at Zerega for Day Zero? Ouch!

The reason why I say "Ouch" is because in February of 2014 I failed the 10-Day Bus Operator Training Session, and when the agency reached my list number for the Track Worker Position as a result of taking Exam #3600, I received a "1-in-3" letter, which you can see below. Just note that I removed my name, address, former list number and my social security number, all in an effort to protect my identity.

Therefore, if I was you, I would do your absolute best to try to pass the 10-Day Training Session, and then cross your fingers as far as switching from one title to another while you are on probation. They may or may not allow it, I am not 100% sure. However, if you fail the 10-Day Bus Operator Training Session, just like with me, you will have to wait five [5] years before you can attempt to get re-hired by the agency for the TA Bus Operator Position.

Good luck!

Now I understand that I have some "critics" out there who are questioning what I mentioned in the prior post. If that is the case, I would encourage you to look at the two pictures below, with the fact that I removed my name, former pass number, and other demographic information, all in an effort to protect my identity.

The second picture below was mailed to me after I failed the "TA" 10-Day Bus Operator Training Session in February of 2014, which is a period of five years, and the first picture was produced shortly after I failed the 10-Day Bus Operator Training Session. Just note that I removed the date in an effort to protect my identity, respectively.

And if you folks think that the potential employees and those "rookie" employees are the only ones who are being screwed, I would encourage you to watch some of the videos on this YouTube Channel titled "Progressive Action." That's all I'm going to say.

Good luck!!

so for five years 5 you can't be appointed to any other titles that you took and exam on?

That's very unfair if that's the case, the 1 and 3 should be done with

Between everything that I went through, and with what was posted here, it seems that this is the case. It's a shame, however I have two things to say:

-Welcome to Life!

-Nice corruption, right? And with everything else that happened within the past calendar year (give/take a couple of months or days), isn't this the right time to expose this specific type of "corruption?"
