Here are some bus pics I took yesterday with Orion in East New York, Coney Island, Downtown Brooklyn (Fulton Street Mall), 42nd Street, (Times Square and West Highway aka 12th Avenue), near Michael J. Quill Depot, Battery Park City/South Ferry and St. George Terminal!

Actually, MJQ can hold more than 269 buses. Even when all the buses come back from service, there is still a whole lotta empty spaces on the roof and in the basement(cellar level). If they really fill the whole place up, I would say over 350 buses or more if they stick nothing but 40 footers.

Oh ok.....I read the depot roster that MQJ have or cann hold 269 bus....I didn't know there was a basement in that building, then again it was my 1st time seeing that depot

it use to be a Greyhound Depot 3 levels are alot of space for Buses i guess that why they didn't mind when Hudson closed all 165 buses fit in Quill easly.

Well they really wasn't talking to me persay...they were talking to my friend, I just walked over there so see what they were saying to him. He said he was doing a school project and they were giving him some advice on what other bus depots to go to and they also said try not to take pics of inside of the depot. Other than that they were actually nice!

Thank you kindly sir. LOL. We happen to just walk along 12th Avenue from W. 42nd Street and bam there was Michael J. Quill Depot. We should have taken the M15 but I was tired and my damn battery on my camera was dying on me and on top of that I done missed two M9 buses b/c I wanted some shots of it!
